Compassionate Autism Care That Begins With Family
At Autism F.I.R.S.T. and Family Insight, we believe that every child deserves the opportunity to thrive — in an environment where they feel safe, understood, and supported. Whether in the comfort of your home or within one of our 9 welcoming clinics across Virginia, our hybrid model of care meets families where they are — both emotionally and geographically.
Grounded in today’s best practices and guided by compassionate professionals, our programs are tailored to support your child’s unique journey. We prioritize strong relationships, consistent routines, and developmentally appropriate goals — all while ensuring that families are never left navigating alone.
F.I.R.S.T. stands for Family, Inspiration, Relationships, Support, and Trust — and those aren’t just words to us. They are the foundation of everything we do. When you walk through our doors (or invite us into your home), you’re not just starting services — you’re gaining a team that sees your child’s full potential and walks alongside your family every step of the way.
What We Stand For
Mission
Our mission is to improve the quality of life for individuals with autism and their families. We take a collaborative approach to ensure all professionals involved in a treatment plan work together to help each child or young adult reach their highest potential. We believe in relational autism care that compassionately supports all members of a family impacted by autism.
Vision
Our vision is to positively impact our communities and the families we serve through our collaborative, relational autism care model. We envision individuals with autism gaining independence while succeeding at everyday tasks and their families enjoying greater peace and happiness.
It would be our honor to help your family.
